Updates from the FSCA
Season’s Greetings from the FSCA Board of Directors.
The 2016 FSCA shooting year is quickly coming to a close. There are still several shoots left around Florida for the 2016 year and a great year for shooting in 2017.
The 2017 shoot year will get started promptly on January 1st with 2 shoots on New Years Day and continue with a full slate for the Florida early season. There are quite a few “Big Blast” shoots starting in late January and running through the Florida State Shoot in early April. There is also a full slate of monthly shoots on weekends and some weekday shoots at areas throughout the entire state.
So, if you haven’t already – sign up and take advantage of the multitude of shoots available in this early season to enjoy some of the best and biggest registered shoots in the country!
The General Membership meeting will take place at the January 15 at the monthly shoot at Bradford Sportsmen’s Farm in Graham, FL. Hopefully there will be a good turnout of Florida Shooters at this meeting.
A reminder for all shooters and clubs that the new rule requiring that shooters should have squads of at least 3 persons for shoots without trappers and master scoresheets starting on January 1. Also, shooters should sign and attest their scorecards before turning them into the club management for scoring.
The Board of Directors for FSCA hopes that all of the Florida Shooters have had a good 2016 and we look forward to a great 2017!
